Aerofex a Californian firm develops a new hover bike which have two ducted rotors rather than wheels and the model is actually a fix for the stability and rollover issues for the original design abandoned in early 1960s.The fix is actually a mechanical system controlled by two control bars at knee-level so that the rider's leaning motion controls the direction of the bike. 

Preliminary tests were done at California's Mojave Desert to a height of 15 feet and speeds of about 30 mph

IKEA's IDEA IS AWESOME! 2012 Catalogue

Who doesn't want to have a good living space.  Be it your living room, kitchen, balcony, office or whatever space it is, surely you want it to look great and work.

my favourite spot to go for idea is IKEA.. you'll find thousands of things to create (in your mind by looking at their designs)

Honestly, IKEA's products are not so good in terms of quality. Most of the product are made of compress wood dust (I don't know the exact term for it). And they will not last more than 3-5 years due to humidity and wear. But IKEA is the best place to find designers furniture at lower price. For me it's a win-win situation, designer furniture = low quality = cheap.. that's sound fair enough. And furthermore, I get bored easily with the same design of furniture in my place. So, 3 years is good enough for a furniture to go out of the window down to the yard. It's not expansive so I don't have this feeling "I cannot throw this away because it is expensive"

ANONYMOUS akan hack Facebook, 5 November 2011

Hackivist group Anonymous vows to “kill Facebook” on November 5, citing users’ lack of choice in privacy as its reason for attack.

Update: Anonymous confirmed via a tweet that while some of its members are organizing the upcoming attack against Facebook, the hacker organization as a whole does not necessarily agree with the attack.

The group of hackers has claimed participation in just about every recent notable hacking attack of this year and successfully broke into 70 law enforcement websites and took down the Syrian Ministry of Defense website this week alone.

This recent interest in Facebook, despite a slew of privacy concerns raised against the social network since its founding, may be a result of Anonymous’s recent announcement that it plans to create its own social network, called AnonPlus. After the group’s Google+ account, called “Your Anon News,” was banned, it began fleshing out AnonPlus.com, “a new social network where there is no fear … of censorship … of blackout … nor of holding back.”

Ni video student Malaysia kat London yang kuar nak beli makanan sahur. but then, dia kena rompak. dah la kena romapk pastu kena pukul pulak tu.

Dari sumber yang diketahui ramai, student ni cedera teruk kat muka.. Rahang patah, gigi tercabut. Bukan takat itu je, wallet dengan barang-barang peribadi dia pon kena tibai jugak. Asyraf Hazlan yang mengalami kecederaan yang teruk di bahagian rahang, sekarang ni dapat rawatan kat Hospital Royal London. Ya Allah, cepatkanlah Asraf ni sembuh dan kembali macam biasa.




To be honest, even orang luar lebih takde tamadun dari kita. "rusuhan" bersih tu takde sape pon orang awam yang hilang selipar sekalipon. "perusuh-perusuh" tu tak kacau orang awam, jentik pon idak.. Ini kat luar yang selama ni kita anggap bertamadun, rupa-rupanya takla bertamadun sangat.

Laluan ke Angkasaraya

Post yang ni saja jer buat.. untuk sesiapa yang nak tau camne nak jadik pilot.. Ni yang sehabis detail yang aku leh bgtau.. Ni adalah cara-cara untuk jadik pilot persendirian (bukan tajaan airlines MAS ke AirAsia ke atau ape-ape je la)

Niat

Jangan nak jadik pilot sebab mak bapak, atau siapa-siapa pon suruh. Jangan jadik sebab pikir gaji dia mahal (Jadi businessman lagi kaya tau)

Faham

Faham btol2 kerjaya ni, kelebihan kerjaya pilot, kekurangan kerjaya pilot. Faham jugak risiko yang akan ditanggung. Contohnya, terpaksa extend masa belajar (dah kena tambah duit beberapa ribu ringgit). Contoh lain, jadi pilot ni katakanlah ter’eksiden’, putus tangan, dah tak bole nak jadik pilot (ada tak kerjaya lain yang boleh back-up)

Kelayakan

Sekurang-kurangnye keputusan SPM dapat kredit (6C) dalam subjek Sains, Matematik, Bahasa Malaysia dan Bahasa Inggeris.

Proses 1

Tulis surat kepada Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) dalam bahasa Inggeris. Bagitau pihak DCA yang anda amat berminat nak belajar pilot dan nak mohon masuk sekolah penerbangan.
Maklumat yang perlu dilampirkan bersama surat:
Salinan kad pengenalan, salinan sijil SPM (yang disahkan)

Kalo hantar by-hand kat pejabat DCA kat Putrajaya, amek skali senarai nama sekolah penerbangan yang ada kat Malaysia ni supaya senang nak pilih.

Proses 2

Bila DCA dah balas surat anda dan dapat kebenaran. Cari sekolah penerbangan yang anda ingin sertai. Mula-mula cari kat internet, tengok gambar sekolah tu dulu.. cantik ke, selesa ke tempat belajar dia, tempat tinggal pulak macamane rupe dia.. bila dah berkenan di hati, tepon ke HQ dan tanya mengenai perkara berikut:

Hal-hal pasal duit
Deposit
Yuran pendaftaran
Jumlah yuran keseluruhan
Bayaran tambahan (untuk beli uniform, buku-buku, headgear, etc)
Surcharge minyak kapal terbang (yang ni mesti ada punye sebab dia ikut harga minyak semasa, dan biasanya harga minyak jarang turun)
Kemungkinan kalo terpaksa extend belajar, kena bayar lagi tak?
Camne cara pembayaran yuran
Mana nak dapatkan sumber kewangan?
(PAMA – PAPA n MAMA) (MARA) (KWSP mak ayah)

Pendaftaran
Bila korang boleh mendaftar?
Kekerapan pengambilan pelajar
Berapa orang sekali in-take?

Pasal belajar
Tempoh belajar
Ape menda yang korang akan belajar (tapi yang ni leh tengok kat website je)

Keperluan
Uniform
Buku-buku rujukan
Tempat tinggal
Makan Minum
Aksesori penerbangan (contohnya: pilot head phone)

Make sure mesti buat perbandingan antara semua sekolah-sekolah penerbangan tu.. Bandingkan yuran keseluruhan dan bandingkan cara pembayaran, tu la yang paling penting rasanya. Decide yang paling bersesuaian dengan kemampuan dan keinginan

Proses 3

Dah decide sekolah, print borang kemasukan dari website dan isi. Lengkapkan semua yang diperlukan. Lain sekolah lain yang dia nak. Call sekolah tu, buat appointment bagitau yang korang nak masuk sekolah tu dan nak datang hantar borang.

Jangan lupa!! Bawak skali salinan surat kebenaran DCA dan pergi kat HQ dengan semua dokumen dan borang kemasukan. Bila HQ dah keluarkan Letter of Acceptance (surat tawaran) – maknenye korang dah ditawarkan untuk belajar kat sekolah tu tapi tempat korang untuk blaja blom ada lagi selagi korang tak bayar deposit.

Kalo dah bayar deposit, korang akan diberikan Letter of Placement (Surat Kemasukan). Surat ni menandakan korang dah ada tempat untuk blaja kat sekolah penerbangan tu. Dia dah reserve tempat la.

Proses 3A (Sekiranya takde duit nak bayar deposit)

Kalo takde duit nak bayar deposit.. sekolah penerbangan akan bagi Letter of Acceptance (surat tawaran).. Dengan surat tawaran ni, leh la pegi buat pinjaman kat AgroBank, pinjaman insani nama dia.. Leh buat pinjaman sampai RM100k..

Bila buat pinjaman AgroBank ni, ingat yang korang ni pinjam kat bank, bukan kat PTPTN.. Korang kena bayar balik sebaik sahaja pinjaman 2 korang dapat.. Takde penangguhan bayaran (tangguh bayar pinjaman selepas habis belajar).. Lagi plak, kena ada penjamin kalo nak buat pinjaman tu.. Carik la sape-sape yang sudi nak jadik penjamin.. Bila pinjaman dah diluluskan, korang gne la duit tu untuk bayar Deposit..

Bila dah bayar deposit tu, nanti dapat la Letter of Placement (Surat Kemasukan)

Proses 4

Dengan Letter of Placement (Surat Kemasukan) tu, korang pegi pulak kat Pejabat MARA kat Kuala Lumpur amek borang pinjaman pelajaran. Isi borang tu dengan lengkap skali dengan dokumen-dokumen yang dia nak. Kalo dia tanya, Jangan bagitau korang ada dapat bantuan kewangan dari tempat lain okay (contohnya, korang guna KWSP untuk bayar yuran ke, tengah dapat biasiswa JPA ke, diam-diam je)

Hantar borang tu untuk diproses. Tunggu panggilan interview. Masa interview, jangan bagitau yang korang sedang belajar.. Bagitau yang korang tak buat ape-ape just tengah apply nak masuk sekolah penerbangan je. Lepas interview, dia bagi keputusan. Kalo MARA kata dia akan bagi pinjaman. Leh la setelkan yuran pendaftaran kat HQ.

Biasanya MARA akan bayarkan semua yuran-yuran tu.. Jadi Janganlah digusarkan.. Tapi monitor betul-betul la, make sure MARA bayar yuran tu semua on time.. Nanti kalo MARA bayar lambat, karang sekolah tu ingat korang yang tak bayar, terus kena reject plulak..

Sepanjang proses, dari mula hantar borang kepada MARA, mesti selalu call dan tanya pasal permohonan.. Biasa la, bila dah government yang uruskan mesti la tak cekap dan efisyen.. benda yang boleh siap 2 minggu jadik 2 bulan.. So, sentiasa la contact dengan pegawai yang berkenaan, biarlah diorang sakit ati ke tertekan ke, yang penting permohonan diuruskan dan diluluskan secepat mungkin.

Proses 5

Medical Check-up

Ni la yang penting jugak. Medical check-up ni bukan medical check-up biasa. Hanya tempat yang tertentu je yang DCA approve. Nak tau mana tempat dia, tanya DCA.. Hmm.. Kat website Asia Pacific Flight Training ada jugak list tu..

Pegi sume proses check-up tu.. antara yang akan di check-up ialah:
Eye Test
X-Ray
Physical Test (weight and height)
Audio Test
ECG (Electrocardiogram – ujian degupan jantung)
Blood Test
Urine Test

Bila dah lulus semua medical check-up, doctor akan bagi sijil kelulusan iaitu kertas bersaiz 10cmX10cm.. Kecik tapi bermakna..

Proses 6

Berkemas-kemaslah untuk berangkat menuju sekolah penerbangan dan mendaftar sebagai cadet pilot.

Semua Proses 1-6 ni adalah proses yang perlu dilalui kalo korang nak belajar pilot secara persendirian (bukan tajaan MAS, AirAsia atau mana-mana syarikat penerbangan). Actually, ada step yang boleh dibuat serentak, contohnye, sambil tunggu surat DCA tu, leh la wat medical check-up dan cari sekolah yang bersesuaian.
